Symplicity Launches the Career Fair Manager
June 1st, 2001 9:00am EDT. Arlington, VA.
Symplicity announced today the inauguration of the Career Fair Manager -- a dynamic, database driven web application that manages the entire career fair process for career centers, from registering and billing companies, to generating tabloids and creating online profiles for students to view information about attending employers.
To develop the Career Fair Manager, Symplicity listened closely to dozens of career center directors throughout the nation. Repeatedly, directors voiced an almost identical concern—that career centers are rapidly losing ownership over their own student data to outside companies. Directors asked Symplicity to design a system that would empower career centers. The Symplicity Career Fair Manager is designed to do just that, equipping career centers with the complete package of tools they need to run career fairs themselves and, in the process, to regain ownership over their student data. Its modern technology will allow career centers to replace outdated practices, such as fax-in registration and will surpass existing software, such as FilemakerPro, in its capabilities.
