Information Technology firm Symplicity named veteran technologist Alok. K Dhir as its new CTO.

Alok has been in the IS field for over 15 years, the last 9 spent developing enterprise scale information solutions for large organizations. Prior to joining Symplicity, Alok served as CTO of Procurement Central, Inc., managing the design and development of a national procurement platform for all levels of government, as well as the healthcare and medical industries. Prior to PCI, Alok was CTO of a leading DC area web-consulting firm, Forum One Communications, where he put in place a robust technical infrastructure for rapid development of information solutions for their clients. Alok also spent 4 years with the World Bank's Information Solutions group where he served as a lead architect for their award winning knowledge management and intranet systems. Alok received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
